The Enclave runs programs across four fronts: criminal-justice advocacy, including this campaign; food sovereignty through Lineage Farms; community research and open data through the Black Dragons Initiative; and education through the McCartney Academy. This site is the public-record arm of our criminal-justice program, focused on the case of Karmelo Anthony — People v. Anthony, 296th District Court, Collin County, Texas.
We do four things here. We keep a documented record of the case as it moves — the conviction of June 9, 2026, the denied motion for a new trial, the appeal now filed — with our positions clearly marked as advocacy. We coordinate solidarity events and publish the materials for them. We provide printable signs, flyers, and teach-in resources for people who want to stand up in their own city. And we collect signatures from supporters who want updates as the appeal proceeds.
Advocacy for due process and for a child in the legal system is core to our charitable mission. Where this site states facts, they come from the court record and published reporting; where it argues, the argument is ours and labeled as such.
